This print was made after watching Jeremy Bowen’s BBC tv report from Aleppo in 2017 after it was almost destroyed by bombing. As he walked through the deserted streets, post evacuation, he said 'All I can hear, in this deserted, destroyed street, in a deserted, destroyed area, in a ruined city is bird song.' It made me feel so desperately sad I made this print,
