This triptych of linocuts is based on sketches made from the car window during a drive through the Alentejo in Portugal to visit the town of Monseraz. The Alentejo is a beautiful province - wide open spaces punctuated by fields of ancient olive trees, small farmhouses and towns built on hills - all with the obligatory water tower.
