This holed stone is hidden away down a track in the wilds of Cornwall. Even being so famous, it's a wild and remote place.

Folklore has it that passage through the stone will cure a child of rickets. For centuries, children with rickets were passed naked through the hole in the middle stone nine times. I can confirm I have passed a baby through the stone and rickets were never a problem.
